LastPass Password Manager App Reviews

Before I spent time inputting all my data, I put the app through some paces. I merely opened & closed it several times. On a couple tests, it failed to recognize my password. Figuring it was a fluke, I started entering data last night. This morning, I can NOT get in. Deleting & re-downloading isnt working.

I was very pleased with the last pass free for PC. Bought the premium in order to have on mobile devices. On the mobile app Some of the sites pull up easily and as expected. Others hang up and do not fill the log on and password. Support is responsive but problems not solved with their suggestion. Frustrating experience with the mobile. Do not recommend until fixed.

Not free like the title says. Its a trial that forces you to upgrade after a period of time.

No, seriously, on the computer browsing the web Lastpass is 5+++ Stars. On IOS devices its a bit less smooth and efficient ....Apples fault. But, no matter the platform, Lastpass is keeping track of HUNDREDS of my usernames, passwords and general bits of "account info". Because its internal search works so well I dont even need to remember where in Lastpass Ive stored something.

I want to love LastPass. I really do. But. Its becoming harder to stay a fan. The app is mostly ok, but Safari browsing extension on the desktop is utter crap. So why am I rating the app 1 star when my problem is with the desktop browser extension? Well, its a package deal. Its all supposed to sync and work together. If one half of the equation is crap, it ruins the entire experience. Frustrating. Customer support is lousy, as well, anymore. Likely will NOT be renewing and instead moving on to a different password service.

Anyone that has been using a computer for long starts with good intentions. Recording passwords and usernames. Before long you find that website that you have been looking all your life and 4 hours later cant remember login info. This starts a downhill slide and temporary insanity. Thats what last pass prevents. It does it intuitively in a week its an old friend.

The interface continues to be refined. Very stable on iPhone 6. Please please please make a version that my kids can use. Being rated 17+ because of unrestricted web access prohibits me from putting this on my childrens phones. Another version for kids without the browser built in would be great. Also, this new version no longer allows you to login with TouchID

LastPass is always making great improvements. Keep up the good work!

I really like this app and its ability to keep track of passwords and secure notes. I appreciate the fact that it works across multiple platforms.

This is fine if you dont have a family, with children under 18. We need a shared passwords folder which can be used by our sons, so were moving to something that allows this. Pity, because I really liked the app aside from that

Every time I use this app I think to myself "theres got to be an easier way." LastPass can start by providing a "most visited" or "last visited" option for the vault (the list of saved sites). I typically only use this app for a few sites on the mobile device, and searching the vault for the same site every time is just time consuming and too cumbersome than it needs to be.

I really like last pass on iPad iPhone and primarily the desktop. This latest update however is wonky. Its very unresponsive as of late.

Had my Apple ID hacked and decided it was time to turn on double authentication on my account and use a password manager. Looked at Dashlane but the yearly fee is 3x that of Lastpass. Took awhile to set up all my accounts but everything is working nicely after two hours of work. Most of the work is figuring out on the computer how to fix multiple logins on the same website or manually setting login info for websites that actively discourage automated login/passwords. TouchID works fine as a login for Lastpass so I have no idea what the other poster is talking about.

After 5 email exchanged for support the company explained they do not have enough staff at this time to provide one-on-one support. They suggested I delete the account that I paid for four days earlier. No Refund.

I use it for all my passwords. $12 for a year? Thats a steal. Highly recommended.

As something of a cryptoanarchist, I value the security of my data, including my passwords. LastPass is the latest password manager I have come across. The biggest reservation I have with it is that it doesnt seem possible to verify the security is as high as it claims to be.

I have had premium for nearly two years now and will continue to have it. I really enjoy having this service. I do like the new icon as well.
