LastPass Password Manager App Reviews

Downloaded this app over the weekend. Only entered one account/password to see if its something I want to keep using. Well, last night there was a software update and this morning I had to reenter the password for that one account. To quote Darth Vader, dont fail me again!

Very easy to use. Convenient!

Have the desktop (free) and thought Id get the mobile. Logged in and got a message I had to buy Premium if I wanted to use the mobile version. Didnt bother to tell me what that would cost. Soooo... I decided I dont need it. Like what it does generally but pay a monthly fee? No thanks.

Upset that you have to sign up for a paid subscription to use the mobile app. It wont allow me to view my passwords unless I upgrade. Totally inconvenient & thats enough for me to delete this app & find the next best thing. Was not impressed by the design of this app regardless.

I like Lastpass and the app was a very useful extension. But for the last few days it tried to update but gets hung up. So I cant use the app anymore and access my passwords from my phone. PLEADE FIX!!!

LastPass has cleared up so much free space in my brain. Think of a password or generate one automatically and forget it. Only think that would make this tool a million times better is if they could launch a secure site through the default browser (no idea about what security implications that would take though). That and if they could just turn my front facing camera into an iris scanner I would have a multi factor authenticating portable device and there would be no need for passwords :]

Worth every last penny of the $12/year it costs to have the mobile edition. All my passwords are long and complex, and I dont even have to think about them. I have LastPass on all the computers I use, so I just log in and it handles everything.

This a really good password app, but the service is surprisingly high. $11.99 a year seems a little too high.

But ever since the latest update, it just hangs, with "updating" displayed. It wont let me delete it and its been stuck like this for over a week. I have been a paid user for several years. Please fix this!

Most people have absolutely atrocious online security. Do you use the same password, or a variation of the same password, for most of your accounts? Chances are, one site or another will be compromised eventually and your all-in security bet will burn in flames along with your personal information. Dont be that guy, get LastPass or another password manager. Youll be very happy with what it has to offer, especially on non-Apple devices. Use multifactor authentication if youre not a pleb. Oh and if $1 a month for this incredibly valuable service is too much for you, you need to get your priorities straight. These people have built a great thing, put a lot of time into it, and they deserve money for it. The alternative is in-app advertising, which I hope everybody recognizes is a terrible idea for an app like this.

Thank you LastPass for implementing the finger print reader on iOS since opened it up to apps. The option to have the LastPass app to lock after a timeout is also very handy. Keep up the good work.

Easy to use, hard to do without. I havent used other brands of pw managers, but I havent felt the need to. Last Pass does everything I need securely and reliably. Its indispensable and vital to your online security. If youre not using some sort of PWM, youre probably getting hacked right now. Dont make it so easy for them! LastPass does all the work, and you look like a star. What more do you want?

I use LastPass on various devices and my laptop and it works great for managing the authentication process. Handles complex password requirements and accommodates a wide variety of login screens on apps and a pc.

I have been using LastPass Premium for 2 years and it has worked fine but ever since this 4.0 upgrade it loses passwords, dumps usernames and will not launch websites from inside vault. It is creating usernames I have never heard of. I just renewed but I am investigating other apps and will be requesting a refund.

Ive always enjoyed LastPass as a service and have recently started using the mobile app on my iPhone and Apple Watch. With the 6S series phones, LastPass uses the available context menus for quick access to 1) sign up for an account and 2) log into the app. These options dont change after being logged in, possibly Apples doing. I think it would make more sense to have the first option open the app to a search function. The user would need to log in anyway (if set as such) thus negating the need for a redundant sign up and or log in option. The second or third choice could be to go to secure notes or the list of passwords stored. Overall, It feels underutilized. Its a small part of the app but for those that use and enjoy 3D Touch features, it would be a big improvement.

Saves me every-time.

This is a very good app, better than Keeper in my opinion.

I used to love Lastpass. It was disappointing to see LogMeIn buy it. Ignition is another LogMeIn product in decline. Constantly trying to siphon $$ out of subscribers. I originally paid $30 for their Ignition app. Its now a shadow of what it was. I expect Last Pass to suffer the same fate... Too bad.

LastPass is great, I now have strong passwords for all of my logins and dont need to remember any but the one for LastPass.
